Sunita is Owner and Managing Director of People Insights.

 

She was born in New York, U.S.A. and has worked and lived in India, U.S.A., Switzerland and Belgium and worked across all European (Western and Central & Eastern) and many Asian countries.  She is a U.S. and Belgian passport holder with Indian nationality.

 

She has an MBA from George Washington University, Washington. D.C., U.S.A. and has a Master Practitioner’s degree in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) from London, U.K.  She speaks English, French, Hindi and Dutch.

 

Sunita has acquired her experience in several global corporations such as Accenture, Philip Morris Companies, Bristol-Myers Squibb International, Electrolux for the last 30 + years.  She has worked in and across many industries, i.e. retail, consulting, hospitality, FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods), pharmaceutical and consumer durables. She held local, Regional, European and Global responsibilities at senior level within Sales & Marketing and Human Resources (HR).

 

She has built HR functions from scratch several times and run large scale HR transformation projects to ensure that the function became a true business partner.

 

She is an active business partner and spends the majority of her time on organisational development, change management, executive coaching, talent management, mentoring, operational excellence and other key processes.

 

Her passion lies in coaching senior Executives and working with business leaders and their teams to shape the organisation and people strategy to ensure its effective execution, thus leading to excellent business results.

 

In addition to her work, she is part of the faculty of Warsaw University of Technology – Business School, Warsaw, Poland. She is Professor of the Strategic course on Human Resources Management & Talent Development, for the Executive MBA.

 

She also teaches a course in International business (focus on Human Resources Management) and Global Leadership (focus on Cross-Cultural Management) as Professor at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL), Belgium, and a “Be the Best Global Leader” seminar at ESMT, Berlin; in addition she taught Human Resources at Vlerick Business School, Belgium. She also lectured at University of Antwerp Management School, Belgium on Interviewing & Job Search Strategy.

 

She was awarded the “HIGHEST RANKED PROFESSOR AWARD” by Warsaw University several years in a row and her Global Leadership course (ex-Cross-Cultural management) (UCL-CEMS) was chosen as the most successful course - "THE CEMS COURSE OF THE YEAR" - out of the 31 courses offered in the CEMS Alliance (Global Management Practice).

 

She speaks regularly in worldwide and European conferences on the subject of HR transformation and excellence, Employee Engagement and other related subjects.  She has also run Coaching workshops at the AIESEC Worldwide President’s Meeting and does so at various other forums.

 

She represents critical Leadership and Human Resources’ areas in media like Radio BFM, BIZZ magazine, La Libre Belgique, HRO Today, HR Magazine, Strategic HR Review, Harvard Business Review, CEO Today, Forbes, CEOWorld magazine, Chief Learning Officer magazine and several others.
